When he overhears a conversation Emily Braden is having with herself, he knows there’s a searing pain lurking beneath her cold exterior–one that he knows all too well himself.

Despite his best efforts, Sebastian finds himself drawn to Emily and soon she finds herself drawn to him as well. But Sebastian Blake is not who, or what, he appears to be and he’s worried that Emily may not be able to handle the truth. Rather than face that reality, he makes a radical change that could mean not only the failure of his mission, but both of their lives.
